How can you tell a vented cap from a non vented one? I just put a ‘70 tank in a ‘75 body and when I open the gas cap suction is present. Is this normal or will a vented cap help this? I don’t recall the other tank having any noticeable suction. Thanks for looking.

Anybody using the locar kickdown setup? I have one and it’s quite nice, but if I adjust like the instructions say the 2-3 shift is late, over 3000 at light throttle pressure. I put about 3/16 slack in the cable and now it shifts normal. Thoughts on this? Thanks for looking.

How good does the eddy mechanical fuel pump #1723 with the 3/8 npt fittings work? Currently have a Carter 1/4 npt fittings with 3/8 line that can’t keep up. Plan on running a #8 line from a tank with a sump to a 750 Holley on a 383.
