I have a 1973 340 Duster project that is coded as stripe delete for both the sides and rear panel. Would this car still have had "340" decals on the quarters or no? The one quarter has some pretty faded out original paint and I don't see any signs of a decal ever being there?

Sorry misfire on above. The flat spot is bent over at a 90 degree angle, has a small hole and the spring goes there.
