I'd image the RPM would change on the SRV based on the camshaft. But you're right, I really don't have a desire to have that functionality on this car. If I was building a cruiser with a basically stock motor, most definitely. The voice in my head is already thinking of an upgrade to this motor...

4 empty spots. Not sure how many the SRV requires and honestly don't know if the MS3X can run it. I don't know what type of signal it requires and quite honestly sounds like it would be a nightmare to tune without a dyno.

Full speed ahead on the hemi. I truly believe the car hobby is worse than a damn ****** addiction. I can't stop thinking about what needs to be done and want to be out in the garage all day instead of working... Got one fuel rail hold down bracket done. It's just a piece of aluminum angle...

'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

I don't recall if Denny's concern was the height, or the sump location. Picture above looks very close to the steering rack. However, eelier in his thread he mentioned the engine was as far forward as he can go (Denny's mounts are adjustable). I plant to put mine as far back as possible.

I see you have the Holley pan. @HemiDenny has been anxiously waiting to find out if it clears his K-member. Did you have to modify anything to make it work? Before I installed my K, I kind of mocked it up on the engine while it was on the stand and it looked like it would be fine.

Will you please take this thing down the drag strip when you're done? No reason it can't run 8s with that motor!

It was a bad day in the garage. Started the car up to back it out for a wash in prep for a cruise night 30 miles away tonight and notice a very weird sound coming from the engine. It was definetly a top end sound and oil psi was good. Pulled rocker shafts and searched the valley with a bore...

Love it. Lots of options for big brakes with that spindle, not that you would want those. But I'm sure there are also lots of race car brakes too. They are TMI Seats They come complete ready to go. I have the pro series low back. https://www.tmiproducts.com/pro-series/complete-seats/lowback/sport

I'm excited for you. Lots of work to get to this point. I'm anxious to drive mine and my swap isn't starting for another month. Still can't believe I'm swapping a perfectly great running car... Oh well, that's what hot rodding is all about.

I need to purchase several items, such as throttle cable, AC compressor adapter fittings and AC hose to make new lines, PS pressure reducer and reservoir, coil drivers for the MS3, misc. fuel line fittings, flywheel, pilot bearing, etc. The good news is all of these items are readily available...

For the bevel I used a chamfer bit on my router and for the notches I used a table saw. Cool thing about aluminum is wood working tools cut it just fine. I cleaned the cuts up with a mini air belt sander and die grinder. It took a fair bit of trail and error since the sides differ. I also didn't...

I currently run a Tanks inc EFI tank with the "corvette" style filter/regulator, which is a dead head system. I plan to change over to the return a return style system, which will require an additional line to the tank, a new regulator and filter.

For those following along, you have likely figured out I'm all about economical solutions. I decided not to use the factory fuel rails because they are designed for a dead head system, not return style. And they are ugly. There are some commercially available rails for $300+, but how hard could...

Just match them on the side. No one will notice. Lol. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I like the ones you have on the front better.

Significant difference. You need one of those exhaust valves that open with boost pressure so you can bypass the exhaust.

On my LA engine, I made a wire bracket that attached to the pan rail for something to hold the charge wire. It worked well, so I made one for this engine as well. It keeps it secure and out of the way of heat and moving parts.

How to make your G3 alternator a 1 wire connection

I'm sure most people that have gotten themselves into a G3 swap without using the factory ECM end up in a situation of having to make the alternator work. I know the old school voltage regulator is supposed to work, but what about the guys who want a clean engine bay? There is certainly an...

Denny, I'm not complaining at all and appreciate your continued support. While I have put time into the HDK with adjustments and measurements, I haven't touched one part of it with a grinder or welder. Can't say that about many major parts these days.

So everyone knows the challenges with G3 engine mounts for an A body swap. I don't ever recall seeing anyone share photos of the HDK mount fitment. Note this is clearly on an engine stand and the mounts may need to be adjusted to fit the K. So this is obviously the left side. Note early 5.7...

Nice. Blake is about an hour from me. I've known about him for a while but never met him until last year at Moparty. I need some things from him, so I'll likely chat with him about this also. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know he was working on this.
