If I'm reading the parts book correctly a 340 w/o AC and w/o PS use the same drive pulley as a Big block? Part# 1821449

Was the dash and steering column both painted with that same textured lacquer paint? Think it was called a suede finish? And is the whole column including the collars painted in that finish or was part of it smooth? Reason I ask is my collars look smooth and the shaft looks textured.

I have a 70 340 dart with the Kelsey Hayes 4 piston calipers in a small bolt pattern and would like to upgrade to a large bolt pattern rim. I have a disc brake setup out of a 75 dart I can use. My question is can I use the stock 4 piston calipers from my 70 along with 75 spindles and rotors?
