Summit sold me pertronix distributor and this fast coil 730-0020 and it did come with ballast res but some guys say it’s used on some applications?? Going give summit call today

So any 0.5 ohms res will work and I ranthe car for hour of driving and worked fine I have proper pertronix coil ordered.. just don’t want to breakdown Otw to show weekend

Ok guys I know I need 12v coil to bypass ballast resistor but no where I can find if PS20 Fast coil I bought from summit can tell me if it’s good for 12v applications or only for resistant coil?

is your tip hanger-on side of rail or underneath rail? cuz min is on side maybe that's problem.

Ya there is no doubt that they should be on 10” rim, but I had to squeeze these 295s in there on 8” with spring relocate and I wanted them inside wheel lip.. as for handling these A bodies never handled with stock suspension.. this is jus cruiser with 340 4 speed with big boots on back if know...

ok so I move my springs in 1/2” and now my tailpipes are almost touching leafs, pipe actually above spring.. not interested in cutting up my new tailpipes... any advice.. who would think 1/2” would cause this issue.

295s were on car 15x8 4.25 bs when I got it home and springs are in stock location there’s 1/4 inch space behind tire and by rights the wheel lip needs to be trimmed but I am goin to order 15x8 4.75 bs and relocate springs in so I can elimate trimming quarter lip... I am trying to get 15x8 rally...

71 340 0.30 9:1 compression 268 dur 491 lift comp cam tti headers 2 1/2 exhaust stock j heads little porting ....btw it's in demon auto wit 3:91 gears it won't pull pass 4500 rpm and pinning then, carb is 670 street avenger wit stock jetting I think that's one my problems maybe lean on jetting...
