yup use a half ton of clothes dryer sheets scattered all around engine and interior same prosedure as always , but you never know if somehting got in there

battery posts were clean . clutch pedal switch has been disconnected a long time ago. battery was on a tender for the winter, done the same thing for the last 12 years and never had this problem, all lights , radio etc working , still checking out starter relay.

ok will give that advice a try and see what happens

the ebay unit should fit. you have to be careful with some of the repo units as they sometimes can melt at the top from radi heat.

thanks for help, I will stay away from these. I just hope other people that see a good deal on tires especially on CL, know that they may look new , but could be years old and know enough to check the codes out.

anybody out there know what radiator fan shroud I can use on a 1973 340 duster? 26 inch wide radiator --stock, can I use one from another body type? seems like no one makes something for a 73.

steve, the gauge is working , but giving an incorrect read.i mean the needle reads full and the tanks is full but 70 miles or so later it gradually drops to empty. fill up and it takes 8 gallons or so and needle back to full, so I think its the sender. your saying bad ground could do this?

if I do go for a new send unit any one know where I can get a mopar oem unit? or whats the best repo unit out ? I would rather pay whatever more and have it work right
