Hi Kevin, I was hoping you could clarify something for me. Looking at your past posts about your turbo 340 you mentioned that it had 10.5:1 pistons once, then 10:1 another time, and being sold with 9.5:1. Were they changed or was it a mistype? is it definitely 9.5:1 now? also, why are you...

Welcome! I've been working on mine up here today, too. I live in a converted barn though, and it seems to bake from all sides.

    [SOLD] 14" Weld Draglites, 5x4.5, 2 good tires -- $475 shipped

I'll take more closeups. They're good wheels. Not bent or damaged, just a little dirty from sitting in the garage.

    [SOLD] 14" Weld Draglites, 5x4.5, 2 good tires -- $475 shipped

Hey, Clearing out the garage. 4 good draglites, two rear tires are good still, the fronts are corded. Came off my 74 Dart. All wheels are straight, one is missing the decal in the center, but I work somewhere I can ship easily. I'm looking for $475 shipped in the lower 48. These are good...

And they said it wasn't a practical winter car...

The tires I've been using aren't even M+S rated. I had the Hak's on another car for a while. If the dart can get me home in the kind of storm we had here in CO last night, it'll be alright.

Not enough younger people in this hobby...

I'm 25, and I've always liked the 60's-70's American stuff. My first car was a '68 Charger, and that will always be the "it" car for me. I can trace it back to the moment the baddies first gunned it in Bullitt at the beginning of the chase. Unfortunately mine was killed when someone missed their...

    Saving a Swinger

Nowadays she's doing much better. Radiator, heater, shocks, exhaust, carpet, keystones, brakes, alignment, lots of driving. Cold today, but better than sinking into ground.

[WANTED] 1967 Barracuda trunk trim and 360 oil pan

Well I'm thinking how important it is to save a few bucks on a pan vs getting one new and not having to worry about it.

    FABO Young Guns .

And now the '67 Barracuda. It's got a 273, the floors and trunk are rust free, it's only missing one window which i have since found and need to put in, the nose is crunched a bit but I have a header panel coming in from NY from a '68. The good news is it drove, steered, and stopped all the way...

    FABO Young Guns .

This is a good thread, I'm 25 so I'll join in. My first car was a '68 Charger which I had for 6 years until someone ran a red light and killed it. I've had a bunch of cars since then of all sorts including a 1959 Chrysler Saratoga. A-body content coming up. Late in 2013 I found a '74 Dart...

[WANTED] 1967 Barracuda trunk trim and 360 oil pan

Like the title says, I'm looking for one piece of trunk trim for my '67 notch and an oil pan to put this 360 in it. I think it's the #392. Thanks much. PS: Before I make a FS thread later tonight, I also have a driver's side rear quarter window for a 68-69 notchback that I don't need.

That's a great picture. My Cuda has a long way to go :)

And they said it wasn't a practical winter car...

Yeah, I just replaced the battery. Really i only have 3 good tires too, the news ones are going on the Keystones. The bad front is a remnant of when this thing had a massive toe out problem. Even so, it's never left me stuck somewhere.

Do any of you run dedicated snow tires?

And they said it wasn't a practical winter car...

This is great. I'm glad to hear so many get driven year round. I've got one other A-body, but I've only driven it around the lot at my work in the snow.....brakes need finishing. Hopefully the Cuda is just as good. Don't have to worry about too much power in that one, that 273 is tired.

And they said it wasn't a practical winter car...

Those are some cool cars. Is that a block heater i see plugged into the Chrysler? That might not be a bad idea, except I live at an apartment complex and can't really plug it in....house soon hopefully.

And they said it wasn't a practical winter car...

Haven't needed the sandbags yet. Honestly, the number of days here where it's like this is pretty low. Just M+S rated cheapo 14's and haven't had an issue.

And they said it wasn't a practical winter car...

Well, they might actually be right. But you know what, for my 6 mile commute, the old girl can still hang with the Jeeps and Subarus on sub zero snowy days. In my head anyway, it's perfectly reasonable, as long as you give it time to start making heat inside and practice all your normal safe...

    $7000 paint job

This is a great post for someone like me. I've got 3 cars that need paint/body stuff, and I'm timid about it because I've never done it before. But i felt that way the first time i started wrenching on them too. I happen to work somewhere that allows me and my coworkers to pull a car in and...
