Do 'Milodon' do a Mains Stud Kit also? Never tried one because everyone just goes straight to ARP..... but I wonder if their kit has the same issue? In this case I guess....modification of the ARP Stud is what I would be trying.

Yes I know.. Build it already!!! Small update to the above. The Weiand Stealth intake has been swapped out for an Eddy Air-Gap, mainly due to the massive difference in Port sizes and therefor much easier matching to the gasket and Eddy Heads. ( The tiny ports and casting irregularities...

About to throw some Hughes Rockers on my Eddy heads. Hopefully geometry works out ok. The Comp Pro Magnums seem to have a good rep also but I have not used them. :D Cheers, Teedog

How angry does the little Teen sound with that Solid Xs268s cam? As a step up from the Xe262 I am now considering the following Comp Cams options. (Bearing in mind it is not a strip car... but a Feisty Performance Street Cruiser that can scare off a few others when and if required)...

Hey guys, Does anything need to be done in regards to sealing off the heat cross-over on a Weiand Stealth intake when fitting it up to Edelbrock Heads which of course do not allow for this. My guess is nothing... just bolt her up with the gasket and forget about it? Can anyone confirm...

For those that say (in my case) are dealing with a 0.020" over 318, the 1008 gasket is just too massive. I'm not seeing a lot of alternatives for me in the 0.035" to 0.040" thick range other than the rather expensive cometics. Felpro 1008 is their supposed one size fits all I guess. Sealing...

Have always wondered about this myself. Have noted alot of people using or recommending the Felpro 1008 previously however it does have the huge gasket bore diameter of 4.180" Why so big? Cheers, Teedog

Hey all, I am led to believe that the Stock steel stamped rockers were generally not quite up to their Factory rocker ratio rating of 1.5:1 however are the ductile iron adjustable rockers as those found on the solid cammed 273 small blocks any more accurate. I'm just not keen on throwing...

OK thanks for that guys.. I do already have the kit but it certainly gives no indication of the manufacturer at all. Going in a 20thou over 318... Mildly warmed over for a crisp street cruiser... Naturally aspirated and will very rarely ever see the strip so I guess they should be ok then...

Hey does anyone happen to know "what brand of rings" UEM (United Engine Machine) supply with their KB piston and ring kits? Plain wrapper budget no name brand? Would they be el-cheapo rubbish? Surely they wouldn't risk selling them with utterly useless rings that will straight out fail...
