I want to eventually do the rear. First I need to rebuild rear and add new bushings. Well, that's what I would like to do anyway.

Hellwig 5905 sway bar install troubles 74 duster

Yes, very happy! I think it came with the bolts to mount it. Drilled, installed brackets and tighten up bolts. Car doesn't dip in a hard corner like it used to. Stopped the sway while driving straight also. I would definitely do again if I was ever to need to. You will notice an improvement for...

Hellwig 5905 sway bar install troubles 74 duster

I can't figure out how to qoute on here for some reason. I figured the noises was the sway bar settling in. All looked good after, but it will go back on the lift or a good once over again this weekend when I get time. Have only driven it probably 25 miles since install. So far, I am extremely...

Hellwig 5905 sway bar install troubles 74 duster

Well, went out and drove Duster later. Handles so much better. Also doesn't have that floating feeling in the front now. Did have a thunk and a creaking noise from each side once, but never heard them again. Even hit a little rougher patches of road to see if I could duplicate sounds. Everything...

Hellwig 5905 sway bar install troubles 74 duster

I just got done installing the hollow tube Hellwig. No problems with fitment at all. Small dip to bottom. Had to drill the holes and mount the tabs for end link. Nothing even near hitting it on steering lock to lock. Haven't driven it yet, so hot out and am inside cooling off. But it looks like...

For guys with "Time Out" issues when connecting to computer, try a different cable. Seems not all cables like the handheld.

408 Stroker Short Block Details: Blueprint Engines

Love this van build. I got the Blueprint 408 kit from Jegs. The kit with water pump, Performer RPM Airgap and some of the essentials. It is the Magnum iron head version that I believe Dyno sheet showed around 418 HP and almost 500 torque. Came with the Edelbrock valve covers I was looking at...

Wow, the cooling issue would be scary for me also. I run an approximate mix of 50/50 with a 4 core aluminum radiator and a 192 thermostat. In the summer heat of Texas, I don't get over 180. During cooler months, I run it with a piece of cardboard in front of it to get some heat.

I've been working on yanking old front suspension and swapping out K-member today. Tomorrow will be new QA1 tubular uppers and all new everything else. Old upper bushings were trashed, lca bushings trashed and one lca was separated and very loose. After looking at old K, someone had attempted...

What was the part number? Also, what engine mounts? I also have a 74 Duster that I just ordered the QA1 upper control arms. The lowers and K-Member are next maybe. Bunch of new stuff to put on next weekend if all goes right.

Sweet. Wish I could find time to get mine all worked out. Don't think it's an issue of FI.
