i noticed on the torsion bar nuts that one side is longer then the other, usually they even. if i try to match up the bolts they're way off in balances. also i noticed that on the passenger side the front wheel is sunken a lil away from the fender and on the driver side the wheel is almost even...

shackles are in the right position, let me pull the shocks now. the guys at the spring place keep saying it has to do with an issue up front.

yeah mine came with a riser for bench. wasnt sure if the bucket seat that i pull from another 73 was supposed to be mounted on the riser...im guessing not since there are no holes that line up for the bucket seat frame rails. thanxs guys for the help!:)

where can i find some more of those speed nutz i lost a couple of them while taken the dash pad out or could i use something else?

me being a big guy i had to remove the front seats for more room. i just used my finger tips to unscrew the dash pad off. lol! i didnt have to use any tools at all. im guessing thats bad and good. my forearms are all tore up, anywhoo pads out but i lost a couple of those speed nuts in the process.

ok guys i know there are two bolts and some screw if im not mistaken under the dash pad..but it seems all most impossible to get to them, i removed the cluster gauge and droppd the column, do i have to remove anything else? plz help

finally got it out! thanx! but now gotta pull the cracked dash..seems even tougher. any advice?

i unscrew the column support. put i cant take the darn speedo cable off. still kinda tight to get to even with the support down.

man how do you remove the cluster gauge from a 73 duster?

seeing it in person is gonna be kinda hard since the car is in ohio and im in texas. i have located a company automobile inspections that for $379.00 they will go and check threw the whole car for rust, driveability, vin etc etc. figure it will save me from making a big mistake.

ok dumb question..wheres exactly do i look on the radiator support for the vin? hmm you know guys i now remember the owner saying he had the original radiator out of the car cuz it crap out..sounds to fishy.

the owner is stating that the motor, tranny and door jamb sticker all match up..but heres the thing how possible is it to transfer all that on to a satellite from a road runner? i figured there are people who are out there to rip people off so im trying to be as cautious as possible.

yeah i have never seen a full vinyl top road runner before..thats why i was thinking it was a satellite.

oh sorry, i meant if the came with some kind of stripe kit if they had a full vinyl top or were they just bare with no stripe kit?

so some 73-74 road runners did come with full vinyl tops? did they come with a stripe kit as well?

it bolts up tight..but yea the manifold doesnt sit flat on the number 7 port.

no there isnt an opening on the bottom of the manifold. i even checked to see if my heads had emission holes and they dont. someone mentioned that they may be warped?
