I would have gone one last time if I knew this was going to happen. I guess Island Dragway and Atco will be getting more business this year.

    Gas Prices

It was $2.19 on Monday. I filled up yesterday afternoon at $2.49 and this morning they bumped it to $2.79 It's bullshit how they can jump the price that fast and then take months to lower it a little. I'm sure the oil companies will be seeing a few billion extra for this earnings quarter!

    Mopars @E-Town Aug.26-27 who coming..

My car hasn't changed a bit since you saw it. I may go if I can run with a certain group of cars. They let me sneak in sometimes with the supercar guys (factory appearing). I ran a bunch of 11.0s last time with them at Etown and the track never said a word to me.

    Mopars @E-Town Aug.26-27 who coming..

I don't think I'm going to bother this year. I was there about a month ago for one of the "street" nights and got told to slow my car down or go home because of no roll bar. They said nothing to the Hellcat Challenger that ran 11.2 with no roll bar and they busted my balls for going 11.1 the...

    I won!

Congrats. Mine has been a project for 3+ years now! That's the kind of car show class I need. It's always great to have the other half with you if they enjoy it.

Say good bye to a very nice car. Or help me fix it. It was worse in 84

After seeing this car in person, it's hard to look at those pictures. That car was beautiful. As long as you are OK, you can build another one.

Post 11 second small block combos

I almost bypassed the 11 second bracket all together. My old 360 combo was running 12.1 @109 mph. New combo with the 416. A little more tuning and I'll be seeing some 10s but that will have to wait until spring. 1.61 60' 7.02 1/8th 98.03 mph 11.06 120.67 mph

My new 416 stroker is finally home

Have to love it when the staging lanes look like this. I'll get 10s out of this with some more seat time. Car 4082 is mine. The Pro tree surprised me the first pass. After that I was doing ok with it.

My new 416 stroker is finally home

Finally got it on the chassis dyno. It made 443 HP at the wheels. I'll be going to the track this Sunday to see what it does in some cool air.

    More engine damage

Wow, after reading through this, some of the guys are being assholes. His car was running great that day. **** happens and you fix it for another day.

My new 416 stroker is finally home

I'm still having high RPM problems. It's running the crank trigger now with a new MSD box. The trigger wires are rerouted and ground shielded. The rotor phase will be checked today sometime. Hopefully I get better results this time. I can't get to the chassis dyno until I get this issue resolved.

My new 416 stroker is finally home

It has 4.10 for gears. That run was an 11.55 at just under 118 mph. It was breaking up on top end and wouldn't even make it to 6000 rpm. I'll get things sorted out and try again.

My new 416 stroker is finally home

Shakedown runs today were 11.40-11.50s Still need to get the fuel injection working better. I don't see a problem with this running 10s once everything is dialed in better.

My new 416 stroker is finally home

I got everything put back together last night and it went for its first drive around town. Water temp stays right around 180-185. Oil pressure hot idle is 50 and jumps right up to 75 while driving. I have to get the fuel table for the EFI where it should be, but that will take some time. Overall...
