Thanks to all who responded. I purchased and installed the relay wiring harness for the headlights and that did the trick. HUGE difference, in not only the headlights, but dash lights as well. Recommend for all early A-bodies.

I replaced my intake manifold on my '66 Barracuda with an air gap type. Previously, I had 3 tempurature sensor ports, each with a sensor - one for the dash gauge, one for an aftermarket gauge, and one for the electric fans. The new manifold only has two ports for sensors. Can I safely connect...

I think since I replaced the engine about 5 years ago but it seems to be getting a little worse and more aggrevating. It has just been something I've tolerated for too long.

It shifts quick and late. Below 45 if won't shift at all. From about 45 or above, it's a hard shift.

I have a 1966 Barracuda with a 318, 4bbl and 904 transmission. It shifts from low to second fine but has a long delay to drive, especially when driving below 45 mph. Is there a simple linkage adjustment or would this be internal? Thanks.
