I don’t know much other than what i saw in this video. The drills out a cast iron head and presses in a new guide and reams it to the correct size.

I found a video of someone using one of these to drill out and install bronze valve guides on the youtube. It appears to have been long discontinued and very hard to find. Anyone use or have one of these things?

Anyone know where i can get one of these rebuilt? the nicer of the two is in pretty good shape , but the upper bushing is a little worn. for some reason they are both painted a different color of orange .

thanks for pointing that out , didn’t notice there was a difference in sides. everything is getting disassembled cleaned and lubed before it gets reinstalled in engine anyways.

i’d try to find a used one and have it rebuilt but it seems to be kinda hard to identify the amperage.

Rockauto has 55 and 60 amp alts . some of them say may not come with pulleys or may be square back.
