I would be interested in seeing some close up shots of where the paint break is on the front pillar. Is there a piece of trim separating the colors? I parted out a 2-tone sedan (white top, dark teal body) a long time ago and I'm considering doing a similar treatment to my '65 hardtop.

perhaps the vinyl top trim pieces off the lower front pillar of a 66 barracuda might work. It's for my '65 Valiant.

I would need front pillar vinyl top mouldings (the small tiny ones that should be near the bottom of the A-pillar).

I think the lens itself is the same as the '65's. There's some on eBay once in a while, or new repro ones are available from Layson's or Year One.

I finally measured my slant six lid. 11" diameter on the outside edge.

I found a used Fram CA160 filter laying in the trash and tried it in my slant six lid. (I think it was a CA160... came from a '67 Polara with a 318). It seems to fit the registers good. there's around 1/4 inch clearance all the way around... kinda tight, no? If that's the same as a 273 4bbl...

is it a 4bbl base? I might be interested, unfortunately, I was planning on using a thermoquad, so it may not work. I'll measure my slant six lid today and see what its dimensions are.

Does anybody have measurements of a 273 4BBl lid vs. a 225 slant six lid? (diameter, height, diameter of the "rings" on the top side, etc). I think that would get me pointed in the right direction.
