[WANTED] Front seat cover 73 Duster split bench

Howdy all....I have surfed around the internet and am not finding any tan/brown split front bench seat cover for my 73 Gold Duster. If anyone has any sources I 'd love to find an OEM type cover for this seat. As you can see the current one is toast....LOL

    TQ specs on RV2

Does anyone have a manual that shows the torque specs for the valve plates and cover bolts on the RY2 AC compressor? TIA

    AC troubleshoot

Well all the "experts" have told me the compressor is shot because of the equal pressure on both sides of the system. Change what valve? Expansion valve? No I did not change that.

    AC troubleshoot

At this point I think it is 99% the compressor as the gauge readings are so equal to each other. I will probably just bow to a complete under hood AC upgrade kit for $625 and be done with the trouble.

    AC troubleshoot

Today's temp is about 69 and it about the same in the car. From my reading there is no way to adjust the rad (reed) valves in the MoPar RV2 unit. I have closed and opened the manifold valves on the gauges with no change in test results. Either the system has a stoppage or the compressor is shot...

    AC troubleshoot

Yes the clutch is engaging when I cycle the switch in the car. There is no condensation or cool feeling on any lines under the hood. As far as I can tell the compressor has never been apart. Pressure at gauges is all wrong imho. It is the stock Mopar system less the R12

    AC troubleshoot

RV2 was blowing hot, so evacuated the system (R12), added the 134a reto fit couplings and pulled vacuum. 24hr no leaks. Added 24oz 134a and gauge readings are displayed below. No change in temp.

Sorry to say the 146 Hideout didnt make it under my ownership. It is still there and open occasionally but hours are sketchy at best.

Sorry to report that we had to close the bar. No customers. Great idea, but a bad location. Once again, sorry.

    Houston members!

I own an icehouse called Texas 146 Hideout, just east of your Shepard location. You are welcome to bring that old Mopar over on Sat and Sun. Thought about having a Mopar only car meet the last Sunday of each month. Of course it's a long drive for folks from the Houston area, but it is a nice...

    Ignition choices

I'll have to check. Either an 8504 or 8534 Lots of long wires on it. No plug.

    Ignition choices

Thanks to all who responded. I like all the suggestions and think that I will for the time being use my stock ignition set up. When I get the engine back I will take another looki into that FBO kit.

    Ignition choices

So will a normal Mopar electronic ignition box work with this unit? I would need to retain the ballast resistor in that scenario?

    Ignition choices

No wipers! LOL....I am just trying to see which will be better in the long run, if I install the MSD now it will require a MSD box/coil it appears from what I have read. The other unit looks like like it just bolts in, but would it be enough to run a 500+hp 360 next year?

    Ignition choices

I have this MSD distributor by itself. I'd like to use it on a 360 car that is currently equipped with old school breaker ignition, I want to upgrade to electronic. This motor is stock, but I am building a HP engine for it. I could buy a kit like this ProForm one to do the conversion. Which...

    408 Build Thread

I enjoyed looking through you build tonight:thumbsup: I know how one can become unmotivated at times when life gets in the way. I am building a 408 for a 62 Belvedere. Most of the B Body guys all cram RB's in their B Bodies, but I wanted to be different as always. In many ways my engine is very...

    408 stroker build ??

Have you selected a camshaft? My build it quite similar to yours, but a little heavier car. 408 Magnum block roller. I am looking at this Lunati: Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller. Serious street/race cam. Needs 10.5:1 compression and 3200 RPM stall converter. Works with moderate nitrous and small...

Edelbrock 61775 RPM head valve springs

This is a 408 build. I'd like to know if the valve springs on these heads are good to go on this build, plans are for 9.5 or 10.5 CR and a Lunati camshaft with either .560/.565 or .535/.550 gross lift. I have them at the shop now being looked over. The only other set of springs I have are MP...
