    Those of you who have been running a polyurethane lower control arm bushings my question is how well have they held up? I'm building a circle track car and I'm trying to decide between polyurethane and rubber for the lowers.

    HV oil pumps

    I have a 360 with HV pump and stock pan and never had oil pressure problems. I feel a 360 needs a HV pump because the main journals are bigger and I run full groove bearings. A 273 with the smaller mains and 1/2 groove main bearings will probably be fine with a stock pump.

    it should have electronic ignition unless someone changed it in which case the points might be bad. could also be bad gas

    could be any number of problems. check to see if your choke is stuck closed.

    I've seen oil come up around the threads of the intake bolts. the fix is thread sealer tape. if thats your problem.

    I put this distributor in a dodge van that had a 318 with electronic spark control. It started easier and ran much better. the electronic spark control would cause surging as it kept switching the advance back and forth. and would knock & ping when it went full advance. Small Block Mopar...

    If you are using a stock torque converter with a low stall speed like the one in my '89 D100, you would be better off with a 390 cfm vac. sec.
