    67 Dart 2 Door Post F/S

No problem dusterdood, like I said, probably wouldn't have been AS good a deal that way. As of right now I want to get rid of it as a package deal.

    67 Dart 2 Door Post F/S

Yeah I think it's a pretty fair deal. dusterdood - I could sell it minus the SB stuff, but the deal wouldn't be as good I'm sure.

    67 Dart 2 Door Post F/S

Well I've been doing some thinking, and right now isn't the time for me to do a resto-mod with a new son and needing other family things right now. It's time to go, and priced to move now. 1967 Dodge Dart 2 Door Post 340 Ported X Heads 11.5-1 forged internals w/ Air Gap knock off intake...

    Floor shift column

Haha yeah I'm familiar with it. It's a two part deal you mash together. We'll see what I can come up with. I'll post results. Thanks again.

    Floor shift column

This is also a good point I didn't take into consideration. Looks like I'll be fabbing it up.
  6. Q

    Floor shift column

Yeah I did a quick search with little luck before I made the post. I'll keep an eye out for a floor shift column I guess until I absolutely need to finish it up, and I'll go to the self conversion I suppose.
  7. Q

    Floor shift column

I need a 4 speed column or column cover for my 67 Dart. Do they make just a cover to convert my column shift to a non column shift or do I have to replace the whole column? If so where can I find parts? Thanks Dustin
  8. Q

    where do you live?

Des Moines, Iowa. *EDIT* Just saw where the post was at. Haha a little waise away from the Mid-Atlantic. :D

    Full automatic race valve body??

Thanks! I was thinking around 65-6700 R's to shift at. I'll give 'em a shout when the time comes.

    Full automatic race valve body??

In my sleeper project I'm going to keep with the column shift. What I don't want to happen with the 727 is the thing shifting out too soon and not getting into the power band. Seeing that this is my first Mopar build, and I'm familiar with Fords, what are my options to not shift this trans via...

    WTB '67 Dart L/F Fender

Just as it says, need a fender for the L/F of my '67 Dart. Obviously rust free would be great. If you could e-mail me at naztmopar@yahoo.com I'd appreciate it.
  12. Q

    Cowl induction dart hood

No kiddin'. Cowl hoods are a hot rod thing. If you like 'em, run 'em. If not, don't.

The '67 is off for surgery

Got it back from Rust Busting it. All was well except for the l/f fender. The guys told me they could fix it, but it may be less costly just to get another fender. I told them not to finish it off, and leave it low as I needed to prep the whole car anyway, so they did. They got 'er repaired...

    Need a '67 Dart Fender

Where would I find a l/f fender for my '67!? I got the zinc repair done. The guys at the shop (awesome by the way) said it may be more cost effective to just get a new fender. Needing one for the Dart. Thanks fellas.

We got 4.8 inches in Des Moines Iowa last Wednesday, and Monday the temps were in the high 60's low 70's!!!! Gotta love Iowa.

    Running E85?

I'll have to pick that one up, and start re-subscribing to the mags I used to.

    The 8-3/4 is in!

Congrats, it's always nice to see progress on your project.

The '67 is off for surgery

Thank you sir, she'll look good on the outside here in a couple weeks. Next Sat I'll be taking the car to get the outside rust taken care of!

The '67 is off for surgery

Well I got the floors in the cab and under the car all seam sealed up, and the bottom undercoated. Talk about a contact high! I had to take a break as the garage (man cave) was spinning pretty good. I'll get photos up tomorrow when the fumes die back down and I can get out there and touch up...

    Mill decisions

I re-read this whole thread. Moper - Don't take my questions back to you negative, I really just don't know but am wanting to. I hope you didn't take offense. Great info you have there. Ray79rt - Thanks again for the response, I was hoping my Ford knowledge could carry over to the Mopar...

    Mill decisions

340 Mopar - What am I bashing!? I have people telling me a big block or telling me it won't work with no reason! Are you reading my posts wrong or what? I'm on here asking a legit question, and all I get is, "why don't you build a big block instead?" I've not been "lead to water" yet, accept...
  26. Q

    Mill decisions

Lets make this two parts. Build me a 500 horse stroker small block. Then add a 200 hit of the sauce on it. All we need to do is make the small block internals handle it, or are the blocks not gonna do it? How fast do I want to go? I'd like to see bottom 10's but it's not a drag car...
  27. Q

    Mill decisions

Right out of my opening paragraph. I would RATHER not, but it's looking like I can't take a few pages out of my Ford building days huh?
  28. Q

    Mill decisions

Rather than anything negative what's wrong with that? Guys with SBF set ups are doing similar numbers, why not a Mopar?
  29. Q

    Mill decisions

I really don't want to debate power adders, as I have enough experience with each, and know what I want for my reasons. I don't want to debate Ford vs. Mopar, as I'm not comparing 302 blocks, but 351W blocks that I have built to 800 crank HP with no issues splitting. Everybody and their dog...
