I missed touching back on this. I had Jay’s Automotive here in Eaton do this, good guys and it worked out great! Between replacing all the bushings, adding a front sway bar and the alignment, the car handles great now, thanks for all the suggestions!

TTI makes a brilliant 2.5” single exhaust. I bought mine thru @HemiDenny . It looks and sounds great. I felt like it helped my launch a bit too. Several member have it, I’ve not heard complaints.

I play with these cars for fun. I’ve done one 100 point restoration, lost my *** on it. So, now my cars are drivers, that said- 1. Make it STOP. 2. Make it STEER. 3. Make it RUN. 4. Make it PRETTY. That’s how I do them, one step at a time! HAVE FUN!

I finally got around to doing this today. Went with the rope a dope method. Works like a charm, wow it’s amazing how much rope 1 cylinder can swallow! It’s also amazing how hard 53 year old rubber seals are too!

My 7 1/4” diff makes a rumbling sound. It’s not too loud, but slowly gets louder as speed increases. I don’t think it’s coming from the center, but who knows for sure. Seems smart to change out the axle bearings and proceed from there. Thoughts? 1970 Duster, 7 1/4 diff, never been touched other...
