The car is all there and the only thing missing is the driveshaft. Looks like it bolts on to the transmission yoke. Other than that, it's all there. I thought there was something different with 66 floor humps? Is it that the hole is oval VS round?

IMO, you obviously are not concerned with keeping the car original so stop by the local pick-N-pull parts place and find yourself a 98-01 Ford Explorer 8.8 rear end. It will come with factory disc brakes and likely a 3.73 limited slip gear setup. You need to cut down the long side of the housing...

I found another '66 Barracuda Formula S 273/automatic car, but someone took out the 273 Commando, front sway bar, disc brakes and the 8-3/4. Otherwise, it's all there. Has the 6-leaf rear springs like it is supposed to have and the torsion bars appear to be bigger than my non-Formula S cars...

66 Barracuda tracks put on these 68/69 seats. Existing bolt holes used. 66 has shorter inside track due to the console. Only 66 tracks are like this.

These are currently in my '66 Formula S, but they obviously are not correct for it. Dusty from sitting up in the car, but the covers look to be new replacements at some point in the not too distant past. Tracks (A-body) work and everything. Headrests appear to be nice. No rips or tears in either...

I agree...there's no wrong in building a clone as long as you tell the truth when asked. If it looks IDENTICAL to the $100k trailer queen sitting next to it at a car show kudos to the builder! I personally would rather have a clone car so that I can actually enjoy it...that means taking it off...

The body looks real clean! I'm pretty sure the dash was never painted body color, though. I've only ever seen black, tan or green. Jim

I too am completing a '70 Swinger with 440/727/3.91. It looks totally stock on the outside, but under the hood is another story. Good luck with it and Plum is a cool color...I'm partial to Hemi Orange, but we all have our favs. Jim
