The two chrysler numbers were # 2998880 and #3612874, says both interchange .But something tells me that the 340 name plates on 70 Swinger hood scoops look different in apperance , but this is just a thought ...

Its funny about the way people think of things differently , we also drove everything else , Hyundai,Edge, Gm whatever, Mazda. But if you look at what you are getting compared to the price of everything else , some of the others were close to 10 grand more .And to me the Journey is alot better...

Its the power steering pump, mine only does it at cold temperatures lasts a few seconds, both the 3.5 and my 3.6 do it.If you check any of the chrysler forums it is the number 1 thing as far as the Journey ... I never had a problem with a pump thoughj

I had a friend that had a 1970 340 Duster his Mother bought it new , F8 green rubber floor mat Bench with column auto ..

We had 2 also an 09 with the 3.5 and now 13 with the 3.6 had no issues with either, but got the 13 with heated deats steering wheel and auto start .Great power too you will like that

My 73 dart sport does the same , blows out ac vent under dash only .I never drove mine in rain so i did not ever fix it but there is a vacuum switch mounting on the back of your heater control that could be bad, also could be vacuum hose leak or is it getting vacuum from the back of the intake...

I have always used Fram , and had a load of Mopar cars and never has an issue . I use a PH43 on my Dart, and also a fram on my Kia daily driver..

2ND That i sold them for 20 years and still buy them today, hard to find where i live .Walmart has them again and Canadian tire has the common only .

I bought one on Ebag few years back works great but was 8 to 10 inches longer .Was i think 20 bucks

My dart was the same vibration at 50 , changed u joints and trans mount also .Never thinking of wheels and tires as they were all new , but one wheel was out .75/ corrected it .
