    rear suspension lift

I'm actually seeing it now on the after photo but it also looks as if the front is sitting higher too now. Look good in both pics though. My fronts are 215/70R15, Rears are 275/60R15

    rear suspension lift

For now, here's a better pic without any exaggeration of the tires and wheels. I still need to get those torsion bars adjusted and factory settings which should raise the nose even more.

That stance looks great Brian, though the "before" pic seems to sit a little higher in back. I imagine it's because it's a true profile pic. I'd be happy with either one.

    rear suspension lift

Hey Joe, 100%. They actually aren't that big, I'll get a better pic. I see that springs and things is on the way to Carlisle. I drag my feet on getting back there every year but that may give me a reason to push myself. I don't like ordering stuff from afar for the most part. I prefer in person...

    rear suspension lift

No, I would prefer it lower but according to factory specs, it should be a little higher still. I had adjusted the torsion bars per manual while on jackstands as far as it could get them to the outside of the LCA's and it seemed fine. When I put the tires one and set it down, it adjusted and now...

    rear suspension lift

A side note... Not sure how that pic turned out so awkward. It looks like the nose has been stretched and the front wheels/tires look larger than the rears. I'll attach another when I get a free minute.

    rear suspension lift

Yeah RRR, I debated just replacing the springs but I want to make sure it sits up a little higher than stock. The Duster/Demon body always looked like they sat too low to me. Thanks.

Looking to get an inch, maybe 2?

    rear suspension lift

Hey all, looking for opinions on the simplest way to raise the back end OTHER than air shocks. Here is how she sits right now and for factory numbers, I believe the nose still should come up a bit. Also, the rear tires are already over an inch taller (a little over a half inch to the axle) than...

BF Goodrich radial T/A white letters

Agree. The BFG are good looking tires but didn't want to chance the letters. I have a young friend who had a Red Monte Carlo pace car back in the day and he would routinely recolor his letters Yellow. Hahaha, I AIN'T that guy.

BF Goodrich radial T/A white letters

I read a ton of stories complaining about them turning brown but I would hope they rectified that. I didn't want to take that chance though and bought Mickey's. The smallest MT makes for the front though was 215/70s while I would have preferred 205/65s.

275/60/15 sidewall clearance to leaf spring clamps- suggestions?

They are 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern. I don't believe they make them in a 4" bolt pattern but you can contact them and check. If not, I'm pretty sure Wheel Vintiques makes them in a 4"

275/60/15 sidewall clearance to leaf spring clamps- suggestions?

Hey Quick... I went with US Wheel and was very impressed and happy with them. I had read about issues with Wheel Vintiques (though, I had no personal bad experience) so I leaned toward US Wheel. I literally had gone back and force with them in emails for a couple of years, then eventually bought...

    [FOR SALE] 72 340 duster

Hey bud, was struggling finding a way to attach pics on a PM so I'll attach them here. The driver side is the one that is secured and it has a metal wrap around the grommet. I must have hit something that busted that off and the passenger side. The passenger side is the one I need though. It's...

275/60/15 sidewall clearance to leaf spring clamps- suggestions?

I just happened to be searching spacers and came across this thread. I have a similar situation but I'm running an 8.75 that was originally a B body rearend. I had it narrowed but in my haste didn't account for the 11 inch breaks. I made the adjustment with my aftermarket Rallye's using a 4"...

Hey Punko, I need a PASSENGER SIDE triangular stabilizer bar Bracket. Have no idea what happened to mine but it likely happened many moons ago. The exposed side is Gone and the grommet is just floating.

    1972 340 testing by Nick

I'm not sure how much the extra gasket helped. I'd read in a couple of different articles that the stock 72 manifold inhaled as well as any aftermarket. They said the best mod would be the LD-340 just for the sake of a 30 pound weight savings. I'm sure I have the magazines in a box somewhere...

    Front suspension height

Interesting, 72. I was debating lowering the nose myself as I'm sure I did back in the day but how do you get that clearance if you lower the nose? Doesn't that close the gap even more or is there something I'm not understanding? I don't think I'd want to drop it more than an inch though to...

    Front suspension height

Yeah, with everything set to the heights you guys supplied from the manual, my bump stops are are about a fingers width also. Or should I say bump STOP since I just discovered the passenger side is missing! Ha, I'll bet it was gone some 40 plus years ago. Glad that became part of the discussion...

    Front suspension height

Good Lord, you guys are an amazing catalog of information. Just took the measurement and it is indeed 7.25". I just did a static alignment on it because I was suddenly enlightened on how that could alter the clearance. I set the camber while favoring the caster back as much as I could. As far...

    Front suspension height

Thanks, mike. Yes, I'm just curious about the height. It seems a little high and with a taller Tire I would expect there to be less gap at the top of it where it actually seems like there's a little more.

    Front suspension height

Good morning, gentlemen. Hoping you guys see this again being there I'm posting it a little further down the line. I set the torsion bars which was a little bit of a pain because I went back and forth I have dozen times and it kept changing a little bit. When I finally got it done and mounted...

Yeah, Coker is priced pretty extreme and I looked at their site a little earlier and even they have some glitches with matching the front to rear sizes I'm looking for.

YEP, that was the size I was looking for all along but unfortunately Mickey Thompson's don't come in that size. Goodyear should be ashamed of themselves for abandoning the classic muscle car crowd.

Yeah, I debated those also but really would like MT's. At least AVENGER was a Mopar trademark.

    Front suspension height

So... long story, not so short, I'm trying to get this thing closer to stock, or at least a stock look. Changed to discs up front going to a 4.5" bolt pattern so I bought 15" rallyes. Original bias ply's were 25.9 with 8.25 section width. My dilemma is I REALLY want Mickey Thompson tires to...

Thank you, Gentlemen! You Rock! I actually have the manuals on 3 separate discs but the processor in my desktop took a dump so I'm working with my laptop right now which doesn't have a disc drive. Great info, thanks again.
