    Reassembly

OK there is a question boys, there seems to be no way to assemble this because of the lack of space maybe the torsion bar goes in further than I can tell? I have tapped on it with a mallet but it seems to be bottomed out. If you put the torsion bar onto the control arm then there is not enough...

    Mr. Car shipper

Mr. Car shipper, is anybody used these gentlemen? Out of Arkansas. They are quoting me a price to move my two Dodge darts and it seems quite reasonable. They have a video about scams did you get when you lowball so I assume they’re on the up and up? Recommended by my moving company going across...

    Can’t deal with this...

Question: has anybody installed racing style rigid mount seatbelts (Simpson) and then realized that they restrict your movement so much you can’t even reach to close the door? I am wondering if I could put a Retractor In between the mount for the Simpson harness and where it bolts onto the roll...

Almost ready to paint. 1970 Dodge dart

I have a 1970 Dodge dart swinger that I want to get painted. More than one body person has suggested that I replace the hood and trunk in total. I am having no luck finding replacement parts for these items? Any feedback would be appreciated - also, Would it be worth having the rust removed by...

    1970 dart trunk lid?

There is a little light dusting of rust on the interior surface. I also included one photo where I took a scribe to the outside rusted area. Seems like I should be able to sand or sandblast this without losing too much material? That is much less than 1/64 of an inch for sure.

    1970 dart trunk lid?

1970 dart trunk lid? So I went and saw a body and paint guy today. He took a look at the rust on my trunk lid and said he thinks it’s too extensive to save? It seems pretty superficial to me but he said if it’s not totally removed by sandblasting and primer Applied that the paint will bubble...

    MSD distributor 408 stroker

Well boys..your gonna love this. My buddy was helping me with the d-trib install and said it did not ‘notch in’ so I went out and put a piece of wood across the engine compartment so I was right on top of the situation, it dropped in and with some rotation of the rotor it clicked in all the way...

    MSD distributor 408 stroker

Yes, BTW...thanks to all y’all chiming in. Motor was running fine since I picked up car but was losing power and acting logy lately. Then it wouldn’t fire at all, pretty much determined it was MSD box failing and then dying-thus the slowing and sluggish deal. My muscle car mechanic said they see...

    MSD distributor 408 stroker

So here is the picture of the difference in the shaft length of the two distributors. So I’m kind of stuck in betwixt and between the engine builder has not gotten back to me after two voicemails today. I’m wondering if he used a different Oil pump shaft length? What is the OEM length of the...

    MSD distributor 408 stroker

Good morning, so all we did was pull the old (billet style but cheap looking) distributor and drop the new one in per instructions. We did check the shafts against each other and the MSD is shorter. Here’s a photo of the receipt for the motor. I don’t have access to the old distributor as I am...
