Think about that for a minute. It wouldn’t matter when putting a timing tape on if it was on compression or not. It would matter for putting a distributor in and some other things, but not for the install of the tape

Is anyone running 1 7/8 tti headers on a small block? The unknown brand 1 5/8 headers that I took off when I started this project were awfully tight. Just wondering how they fit. I now have trickflow heads, not sure if that will effect things

That was my guess. It needs Abit of reshaping but seemed to be the closest fit. If the gap was a little tighter a few passes of weld would work
