Two 9" fans are not enough to cool any healthy V8 engine, especially in an less-than-efficient 3-row design.

Creative use of the ford fans! There are a lot of cool, shiny rads to go with those fans out there:-)

There are a lot of clean electric fan controllers out there, kind of like this one: http://www.entropyrad.com/wiring-harnesses.html which will work great and allow for stealth install, or doing the traditional thermostatic probe switch and relay setup can work

They have good customer service. I had a mishap with a part number of theirs on a late model chevy where they left off an O2 bung, but they covered return freight, and had a refabbed/recoated header back to me in 7 days!
