Wow, so sad to hear. I met Bob at Quaker City years ago he was a easy guy to talk to. He was making his car fly way before the big money came in to that class. He always raced in his boots I remember. :) Great guy.

1969 dodge dart.

I am in need of the drivers side brace (don't know the official name)that is just behind the front wheel. I used a picture of one to show where the location is on the car. It goes in between the fender attach and the frame. Any help would be appreciated.

great discussion, I learned some time ago that if I payed somebody else to do something on one of my cars I sometimes didn't get what I was paying for. So I slowly learned how to do motor, paint and so on. It ended up being very satisfying to do it myself and it keeps the cost down.

If I personally didn't know the car from my jr high days until know I would be very cautious. I have looked for any other build sheet and no luck. Like I said I am going to have to piece together the build sheet. I am taking many pictures of the restoration before I do the repaint. I am learning...

Here is the fender tag and the trunk ledge and the radiator support number as well and the dash vin. For the fender tag it says E55 which is a 340 but I also included the K frame member that it shows it had a 383 which is what the hood inserts have (I removed it from the body for the first time)...

Sorry to here about your father.... I just started to follow this build and as I read all the comments about dads and their kids I have a few words for young dads get them interested in you cars and you will always have something to talk to them about. Good luck
