The RPM noise at Key on, for me came from the O2 sensor wires, when the o2 preheat was on.. The new software allows you to turn off the pre heat, and voila no rpm signal with key on engine off.

    wiring for EFI

Can't answer all your questions. I have the Fitech. Main power feed is to the Battery, with a fuse. No issues with power drain when motor is shut off for extended periods. I tried hooking that line up elsewhere at my main power junction box (car is entirely rewired) and found it did not...

My "low flow" was set at 41.6, mid at about 89 and high at 97.9 I changed that today to set low at 40, and mid 58. I believe the " flow" percentage changes between those set points based on need or input from the ECU? Ken

Mine is running at about 50% on 'Low Flow", I had it set that way before.. My return/vent line is only 3/8 inch and the manual pump is keeping my input low side pressure at about 4 PSI

I have modified my FCC and so far no issues.. Fuel command center is much cooler, even without the heat wrap I used to use. Before if my motor got up to temp ( 195), the FCC would seem very close in temp to engine temp. Now there is marked difference in the Command center temperature (...

If you search on the chevelle web site, there are some examples listed there.. I think you unhook the spring, unwind 1 turn and hook back up. I believe it is a bit challenging to do.. FITECH EFI throttle return - Chevelle Tech

Check the air/fuel ratio when you get on it. You may need to change your accel pump settings. Mine would backfire and sometimes die, until I put more fuel into the accel pump. ken

Good. Do you have a computer based camera that you could mount and have a passenger observe while you are driving ? Might be a way to see what's going on. Ken

Drill a hole into Fuel Filler Neck?

Well, when I did mine, I used grease on the drill bit, ran a vacuum while I drilled, and placed my brass barb inside the trunk, just above the trunk surface. I used epoxy seal all, and have had no leaks, smells or issues since. My filler neck has an inner sleeve of some sort, so I used the...

    FiTech EFI system

Manifold Vacuum to both throttle body regulator and FCC regulator if you have one, was added as a tip from Fitech on their FAQ sections.. Found it myself , quite by accident as well.. But it lowers Fuel pressure at idle by about 10 on my system. And a relearn won't hurt to start fresh...

On the issue of key on engine off random numbers, I think you will find that it is the o2 sensor wires, when the o2 heater is active prior to starting. In the most recent software they sent me for Go efi 4 power adder version, it has a setting to turn the pre heat off, and that got rid of...

    Plug Removal

I don't have the exact headers but with my Hooker Super competition headers, I use a swivel adapter like these. I support the socket at the plug with my hand to ensure the pressure is applied "squarely", without any twist. I use short or mid length socket extensions as required to work...

From what I have learned.. The engine will crank on your base timing 14.. then once running will adjust to what you would like, 18. Set the timing at the various breakpoints to the timing that you want it to run at.. I use 34 on my WOT settings for 3000 and 6000 rpm, and higher...

I would watch your map numbers at the time you get that lean issue when getting back on it.. You may be at the point where fuel is being shut off. DFCO cut fuel map If you are, then try lowering the dfco number to slightly less than what the MAP numbers say. Bring the DFCO return map just...
