Yeah, could have phrased that better. Thought i read somewhere about the chamfer on top of lifter bore and it's varying size, and possible oiling issues w/ hi lift cams. Maybe that was only with retrofit roller lifters in non-roller blocks. Specifically, would there be any issues running lets...

Certainly not the biggest possible, but i'm running 205-65-15's on 15x7 steelies from a Fifth Ave. on my '69 with complete '73-up front suspension and 11.75 brakes, at stock ride height, with no issues whatsoever. It's my understanding that it's an inspection tag; that the inspectors would either use their punch on the correct area of the tag, or they would cut the end section off as it progressed past their work station to indicate that it passed QC. Don't take that as the gospel though!

What's wrong with the speedometer? Looks like the standard non "Sport Group" dash: 120 speedo, no trip odo, no woodgrain. Nice car BTW. Would love to see fender tag!

I have the hollow bar but had the same issue, bar hit upper inside of K frame when i tried to tighten these bolts. Bought some bar stock at Home Depot and made up some spacers-I think mine are 3/16 but you might need something else. Fit perfectly after that.

This is my idler/centerlink, all 73-up front suspension. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. Looks like the idler drops down way more than yours. Center link sits level. Grease zerk clears torsion bar by 1/2" or so. I'd have to dig through my slips to be sure, but I just ordered the 73-up P/N...

Did mine last year, only thing i had a bit of an issue with was removing the old pump from the housing as it was pretty crusty. IIRC, had to put some longer bolts in and knock it out. Otherwise, quick and easy.

Yes, 69 is different. Just measured a spare: ignition switch housing measures approx. 1.170 dia. @ threads and hole in light bezel is 1.215 dia. It looks just like your pic but hole is larger. overall bezel dims. are 1.515 wide x1.430 high. Sounds like it's time to break out the Dremel!
