    Typically your bog out of the hole is because the car is going lean between the idle circuit and the main jetting... In a holley a bigger squirter, usually a 30-35 range in the primary side will cure it along with some accelerator pump cam trial and error. Had to do some hunting to find this...

    I would probably start by disconnecting your vacuum advance and set your timing at 3K - 34 -36 degrees. See what that gives you for initial. Then test drive. Eliminate some variables then you can hook the vacuum advance back up and see what it's actually doing for you.

    I traded the Pitman arm Saturday to a local guy for a set of bare 360 heads. Forgot it was listed, sorry about that. I do not have an extra idler arm or center link. Pitman arm was the top down version - wrong for our 72, l pulled it from the manual box whe I put it in.
