Tested all the gauges today all seem to work. And with my new fuel gauge everything should work if I get power to that supply wire to my fuel gauge. There just one more question. What is the round thing and where does the terminal connect to?

I reread what you just said. I have installed a new fuel gauge as of today because I was told it might be the issue. But if you were saying the ivr is built in with fuel gauge then it can’t be that.

If it ends up being the ivr is that something I would have to order specific to this dash. Online order or should I be able to find something local?

So good news. Got the engine running yesterday with the new pistons and today I got the timing done. Took it for a ride. Pinging is gone and I’m happy with the end result. Still some fine tuning but I’m happy the compression is now in a controlled zone that I can run on pump gas
