    Lunati Voo Doo Cam.

Normally we don't care about economy with big cams. But if over half your miles are gonna be hiway, and I know your gas ain't cheap down-under, so it might be important to you. I know it was to me, and every part I put into my engine reflected that....... until I got a little better off...

Got a A833 with 3.23 rear gears as I live in the country & half my driving is doing 65 mp/h. I know the 3.23's are letting me down. Rear tyres are 255/60/15's.

G'day All, Wanted my 71 340 Demon to go faster. Couldn't afford a strip down, so I went bolt on stuff. Did the following - 750 Holley DP Elderbrock dual plane air gap performer inlet manifold. Bigger cam, (see cam card below). Doug's ceramic coated full length headers. Will be in the near future...

Classic Industries - Not Happy Jan

Some of you forum owners will know me as the guy with the 71 Plum Crazy 340 Demon. As I live in Australia it sucks as I have to get most of my parts I need for my car from the states, (this I expected when I bought my Dodge). What I didn't expect was wanting to get a throttle cable that I paid...

    Demons

Hi Mate, In Australia, when importing an American car if it's 30 years or older it doesn't have to be converted. In saying that got a mate who's restoring a 71 Plymouth Duster to RHD & using all aussie stuff to do it. Will cost him heaps. Can't really see the sense in it. Cheers, Glenn.

The 340 is the biggest POS V8 Chrysler ever made.

I live in Aus & 340's only were put in our Aussie made Chargers but were d tuned compared to the yank ones. Never went in one when they were new but was told good things. Owned a lot of Aussie muscle in my day, (51 years old) with V8's. Have a H code 71 Demon now with the 340 & back in it's day...

    What's my 71 340 Demon Worth?

Thanks all for the good/bad comments. I know my cars not perfect, but I bought it that way. Here in Aus if you have an American LHD car & it's 30 years or older it can stay LHD. When I went looking for an American muscle car I wanted something different that not many people know about here. Like...

    What's my 71 340 Demon Worth?

Ok got a genuine 71 340 Plum Crazy Demon. Wondering what it's worth? It was restored in USA in 2009 before coming to Australia in 2012. I purchased it in 2015. I've gauged that it has done very little miles since restored in 2009 as it looks extremely fresh. As mentioned Dodge was fully...

'I would say that a numbers matching, original sheetmetal Demon is the unicorn of Mopardom so if you have one, keep it! They are out there but they're rare, rare, rare. Dave, I have a genuine H code 340 71 Dodge Demon in plum crazy here in Australia. So if you reckon they're rare, rare, rare in...

    first purchase from classic industries

All I wanted was a spare $50 throttle cable for my aussie demon. Been waiting since feb. Lucky it's only a spare, otherwise it'd be still sittin in the shed not getting driven, (that would then really start to piss me off).

    Road Trip Down Under.

Not real big road trip, but this weekend I'm cruising with the missus on a 500 mile round trip to MotoEx here in Melbourne, Aust. in my Plum Crazy 71 340 Dodge Demon. It's the biggest most prestige motor show in the country. Chip Foose & SEMA will be there. They have a "Street Heat" section...

Why doesn’t my Plymouth Duster have a passenger side mirror?

My Demon only had one mirror when I bought it. It was one of the first things I did. Don't know how anyone can drive without a passenger mirror.
