South African sixes has their filters on top of the valve covers. This had to be done to overcome clearance issues, being right hand drive steering interferes with filter otherwise. Ters.

Good day all! I did an "upgrade" on my /6 to Hei with E-core coil...ran into an issue where she would not shut down with the ignition key?! Great help and assistance from KitCarlson in this thread: Hei /6 won't shut off? She is running better than ever! Have a blessed day! Ters.

Dear sir, I think some misunderstanding earlier? I only fitted the 1A Diode today.....and it works!!! I appreciate all your advice and patience sir, she switches off with the key now. I had to buy 10 for a "pricey "R10" (less than $1!!). Thank you so much again!!:thumbsup::thankyou: Ters.

E-core fitted and tested....running great!! Hei unit own designated earth also done, only alternator to sort....she still wants to keep on running. Lol! Ters.

Thank you for the compliment! I have sourced an e-core from a breakers yard, out of a, Opel/Vauxhall... Delco Remy. This one has the "exposed" (4) terminals. I will fit and surely notice more improved ignition?! The Hei module is being earthed to a designated earth as we speak, also paying...
