    Tunnel is tall all the way back where that side to side hump is in the floor. A TKX is a lot smaller. Yeah may be able to modify bench seat frame to clear the bigger tunnel.

    Any tips on removing the carpet that is glued onto these interior panels? I glued it on back in the '80s with some type of spray glue and its crazy difficult to pull off. Any tips to get it off?

    Most likely carb was tuned to dial the air fuel ratio in. Those carbs tend to be lean out of the box and need bigger jets to richen them up a bit especially for a 340 with aftermarket cam. Given the posted dyno numbers I bet shop dialed in the carb. That is normal procedure when dyno tuning...

    Never heard of a head being clogged on a fully rebuilt engine? So did shop go out find another head? Or did they take it apart unclog it put it back together? And they sent you home with a clogged block?

    AVS 2 650 carb sufficient?

    I ran 650 AVS 2 on my stock '69 340 years back. Had to increase jet size and put bigger accelerator pump nozzle in. After that it worked great.
