    Many thanks for the responses. I have bushings to go in the levers. I am just using some threaded rod and old female rod ends I had lying around. Will eventually tap some 1/2" rod and use some male 3/8 rod ends. I wanted to try and keep the rods straight as I can be a little hard on gearboxes...
