With, or without a bypass hose a thermostat will still act as a thermostat and bring your temps up to where they need to be. It may open/close more often, or less often, but it’ll still do it’s job and give you the heat it needs.

Nope, no cracks. But that is funny because that’s where they do crack! There was a bunch of fuzz and debris on them from when the machine shop oiled them, but there’s no cracks. Not sure which head it was now that their in the basement, but I’ll take pics of both with the casting number for...

Hello Tayseer, just wanted to follow up on your question. We have 5 GA4 V24 cars in the registry, actually kinda high on the list considering there’s just shy of 50 cars in the registry. Falling in at #3 with just EV2 and FJ6 on top.
