I have a oil filter adapter I need to use with my headers on a 340. Seems like I purchased a short filter to make this work . Wonder if I will be able to find one. Local parts guys look at me like I am an alien if I do not by first thing put on counter

I have a 340 with a cam I lost the card to. Solid lifters with old 273 rocker shafts. Had a lil water in oil after last build. ever hear of leak on intake going into valley down into pan.

My 340 is together. Thinking I would like to sell it and have a mild engine for bracket racing. The 340 is a strong runner but I may have difficult time keeping it consistent.

Hello - I have a 1973 gold duster started out as a slant 6. Have aa 340 with a Ford maverick 8.5 and 466 gears, She pulls good. Believe I am going to build a 727 to go behind the 340 this time. Have been from manual to auto and back with this project before.

Had thoughts of 440 once. Not sure about the duster suspension to handle the power?
