Any way to search wheels by specs? No option on Tirerack.com?

When I search for wheels by size I like to use ebay if only initially to see what's out there. Just type in "wheels" and use the search options on the left to fine tune your parameters.

72bluNblu you should put 285s up front on your car then unless you've already rolled the fenders to get those 275s you have up front? :steering:

    Gerst Dominator Series 4 Link

You have a youtube account? Edited for clarity... I have a video of my car but no comparison video to speak of. My video is of my second run period at a local autocross event, I'm still dialing in my car.

    Mig Welder

The gauge on the right is the PSI in your tank, the gauge on the left is the PSI going into your welder after being brought down by the regulator. You turn the big black knob to adjust the PSI going into your welder. I don't know what the directions say but I'd start at about 20 psi into the...

Fuel gauge works, but not in dash

I just had my stock in dash fuel gauge stop working after changing the sending unit. Thought it was a bad sender, checked wires etc... It was the connection in the back of my dash to the gauge itself, I just wiggled it a little a it sprang to life.

Autocross style wheel and tire combo

In my case anyway, once I cut the old inner wheel house away and started separating the old pinch welds from the trunk floor section and trunk support what I was left to work with was thin and full of holes. Even when I was careful about the spot welds the steel was just too thin especially...

Autocross style wheel and tire combo

I would buy new AMD inner wheel houses, cut along the middle of the raised portion on the wheel house then make strips 3" wide or so in 22 gauge to get my desired tub width. Weld the strip in place on the underside of the raised portion on the split wheel house.

Autocross style wheel and tire combo

Yes, I used the US cartool kit but If I were to do it again I would just roll my own using new inner wheel houses.

Autocross style wheel and tire combo

Correct and we've talked about this before. I can fit a 275/35/R18 but opted for the wider tire because America.

Off the shelf rear axle assembly: Dana 60 instead of 8 3/4"? Pros/cons?

I like overkill. The Dana is 35lbs heavier but is more efficient than the 8 3/4. It would not require heaver springs because the sprung weight is your car and not the axle itself. It may even be a benefit to have more weight in the rear and low in your car. Changing gear ratios is a chore on...

    Project Munin/68 Dart

I need to make a cage for the tank as well, just a little added protection and some chassis stiffening to boot. Here's the front bar link mod I did to my custom, thanks Carl! 1 1/4" GTS front anti sway bar. I still need to road test but I don't see a problem. It did have bushings top and bottom...

    Project Munin/68 Dart

Hot rod city garage made the tank. Yes it's baffled, it also had to go back once because the filler location was incorrect the first time around. The build quality is top notch despite the miscommunication.

1969 Dart Pro touring daily driver **Crashed**

For my application since I am working on a painted car I just plug welded the holes as to not cook my paint. If you don't care about the paint as this time I would weld all the way around. I will do the same when the time comes to paint my car.

    Project Munin/68 Dart

I've been trying to post a video of it running but I'm not able to embed the video for some reason. She sounds great, I've got it back on the road now. I still won't hook up the rear anti sway bar until I tune the ride a little. Everything is working as it should, it's handling great. I didn't...
