Thanks for the advice. I've actually already ordered two 195/60. I think a 195/50 would be to small, takes it down to a 22 inch diameter, but maybe a 195/55 if the first option doesn't fix it.

And of course they have to have the 5x4 bolt pattern. I found some 14's on eBay, but not the correct bolt pattern. Thanks!

Thanks. Problem is I've only seen 15's. If I could find 14's I would just slap two on the front with new tires and be done. If you've seen 14's let me know!

That I don't know. I would think keeping the aspect at 60 should give the tire a similar fit on the rim. I may try this, sure beats beating on a fender. Under 200 for the two tires.

215/60/15's on back, 205/60/15's on the. front. Do you mean staying with 15's, but maybe a smaller tire, like a 195/60? That would save me a half inch of height and almost a have inch on the width. Would be a lot cheaper than all new wheels and tires.

These are 15's and I believe 15x7. I have messed with the car height some already. That may be what ends up having to be done, but I really like the stance better higher in the rear. Would have to raise the front up quite a bit. If anyone is putting a drum to disc conversion on one of these...

Probably, but not that I can see with them on. I'm pretty sure US Wheel doesn't make this wheel in a 14 inch, so really just looking for something similar. But hopefully I can make the 15's work. It may take a little front fender "massaging".

Can someone help me identify these? I was told they were American racing torque thrust but can't find the similar wheel. These are 15's, and after a disc brake conversion I may end up having to sell them off for 14's. I'm getting tire rub on the front now. And of course I need the 5x4 bolt...

I see nothing in the VIN that concerns me, just the incorrect fender tag. VIN checks back to a 67 Barracuda with a 273 V8 from factory. Was concerned with a V8 having a 7.25 rear end too, but I guess that was pretty common for an automatic 273 that year. I also get a 77 Buick tag, but still...

Thanks for the info. Do you know the mopar # of that seal? I had several NOS parts come with the car, so I may already have the seal. I probably wouldn't attempt to replace it even though I'm sure it's not that hard to do if you know what your doing. I've never even had a rear diff cover off...

No issues before opening other than leaking when hot.

Hello all. I have my diff cover off my 63 GT. To the untrained eye I don't see any issues. If I'm reading numbers correctly I believe this is the original gear set from 1963, and is 2.93. Do you guys see any concerns that I should look at before sealing it back up? Thanks!

Didn't have any luck with that link. All I could find was 4.10 sets for a 7.25. Sounds like too much. I have my rear diff cover off now and will be checking for any issues and hopefully be able to confirm what is in my 63 GT. I'm assuming original gears were 2.76. If all looks good, I plan...

Thanks, but the 270 is a different emblem. I own a GT. Can that 270 center be changed out down the road? I think the emblems are identical other than the center part that says 170, 270, or GT. Send a photo if you can.

Thanks. Most that I've found seem to be coming out of Durangos or Dakotas with a 3.55 gear ratio.
