    SCT versus random orbital sander?

Do you have a dustless blaster guy in your area? I would wet blast it and save lots of time for other work. It will cost a little but if you make more than 50 cents an hour it’s worth it.

    Small Block Showroom!

My 273 in my 66 Barracuda. When I put the vintage Offy intake and Holley carb on it, I couldn't use the super cool stock air cleaner. So I bought a black crinkle air cleaner and a 383 commando pie plate from Mancini Racing. Then I had a local sign shop make a 273 sticker to go over the 383. Not...

Which A-bodies do big blocks fit best in?

With all the difficulties of installing a BB in an A body, the distributor is in the front. All worth it to me. Tired of laying across the fender or carb trying to tweak or work the distributor. I love it up front.

I met Lizzy in person at NPK Denver. As busy and tired as she was, she came out to sign autographs, talk to fans. She is a genuine and sweet person.

    Which 273?

Sure, but aftermarket intakes don't make that distinction. I'm not talking about port matching, I'm talking about physically bolting up.

    Which 273?

Judging by the 9/16 bolt heads and the angle I would say these are the later heads. Agreed? I should be able to use the 318/340/360 intake.

I have a 66 Barracuda Formula S that was delivered 10-12-1965 according to the certicard. My question is do I have the 65 and earlier engine with the unique intake/ head angle bolts or the later. I would like to use a newer dual plane intake. Driver side casting # 2465330-4. Passenger side...

    Wheel options 66 formula S

Can anyone tell me what wheels were available from the factory for a 1966 Barracuda Formula S? Some say the rallye wheel wasn't available until 67, some say 68. If they were available in 66 was it the same style or different, and what center would they be in 66? Obviously these are the sbp...

    273 engine identification.

This is an F7 car according to the fender tag. Assuming this is the original engine (I know, we don't like assumptions) but it certainly appears to be. It should be a 10.5:1,solid lifter engine. The upper case AB# is 32, which should represent 273 V8, 4BBL. The 5th digit in the vin is D. As far...

    273 engine identification.

Hi Guys, I am trying to identify a block number on a 1966 barracuda. This is the number stamped on the block on the left side directly under the cylinder head. It appears as R 273-8-5. I have looked at several "decoders" and can't quite figure it out.

    Thermoquad cfm on 340

Awesome questions and right to my point, thank you. I am running A mighty demon 650 cfm dual feed on a edelbrock performer spreadbore manifold with an adaptor. I've been wanting to replace the intake with a performer rpm, but either way i think it,s getting too much fuel. I live and cruise at...

    Thermoquad cfm on 340

I've been thinking about replacing the demon carb on my 340 and going back to A thermoquad. Most of the ones I find are 800 cfm. Are these the ones that came with 340,s or were there smaller versions. I realize they have a small primary and large secondary (spreadbore) does this account for the...
