68 Cuda steering column parts needed

Yeah, the bearing is fine, I was concerned about the insulator. After rebuilding the column, I found that there is no issue. Everything seems ok, so I'm gonna go with it. Thanks for the input guys, I feel better about using what I have.

Looking for part #19-14-38, the bearing insulator for my Cuda floor shift column. Anyone have/ know where I might get one. My steering column is painted and ready to rebuild, but the insulator is torn and I don't want to chance it being an issue later. Any input on parts availability, or just...

    Air Conditioning/PS delete solution

Currently running magnum top end on LA 360 stroker block. Would your set up work for me if I only wanted to run a/c, no power steering? If so, definitely interested in a low buck alternate.

    Steering column

Thanks for the support, I had a feeling this was the right place to share this issue. So let's see if I can clearly explain the problem. 1, the 2 bolts that trap the collar and column housing won't stay together, I don't know if I am over tightening them or what, but they just won't stay. 2 the...

I have a manual steering column in my 68 barracuda that is giving me fits. I recently rebuilt the column, replaced the lower bearing and reinstalled it. Went for a test drive and it comes apart in my hands (pulled the shaft out of the housing and the rag joint apart). When I pulled the column...

    Steering column

I am trying to fix my manual column, the 2 bolts that connect from the collar to the column won't stay together, tried 4 times so far and now I'm losing patience and interest in keeping the stock column. Also think the rag joint is a poor design, very difficult at best to get everything back...
