Seems to be a 7290 with exception of the snap ring location. This one is a captive (bearing cap face) snap ring vs. the inner snap ring (bearing cap base) ?? Chrysler 727 and 518 Transmission Yoke 7290 series

Sorry for the late reply. The cap size for the 904 is 1.075" And the 727 is 1.200"

Okay update! Modified the exhaust and hooked up the patc kit and Holy-**** I have over drive! It runs a drives so smooth, shifts feel stock... lol So happy I did this, Pain in the *** but feel well worth it.... super excited...

Small update, I have the patc kit installed and the transmission ready. Install will be next weekend, then we'll find out just how much better the truck will be at higher speeds/ freeway speeds..

Naw, I watched a guy on youtube awhile ago while looking for transmission build info, build it and thought it was slick so I built one for myself. The youtube channel is "Transmission Bench" he makes how to vids for rebuilding transmissions.

On Sunday I was able to finish the initial build of the transmission. I still have the valve body to deal with an the install of the Patc kit. I'm not planning on installing a shift kit in it at the moment, but I will go through it a clean it up and make sure everything is in good working order...

Yesterday I received the needed forward hub spacer so I was able to finish putting the clutch pack together. Then I check the tolerance for both clutch packs, both well with in spec. waiting on a few more small bits but I'm hoping to finish then transmission this weekend.

Okay so after work I reassembled the over drive tail housing and got the measurements you needed. The hydraulic tubes extend past the edge of the case by 0.236" just under 1/4". I also got the measurement off the front case where the tubes intersect and it protrudes into the tale housing...
