Tractor supply sells some pretty good solvent for parts washers on the cheap. I use it and it s good as ive ever used and I used to use varsol everyday.

Well Maybe they opened up the holes. These heads we got may have been some of the first one's out. Our 3/8 pushrods rubbed on about half the holes requiring them to be opened up. Another ?. We put in a Hughes solid roller with alost .700 lift and we had to do a spring change for it. This thing...

Andy , what size push rod did you use with your heads. we're using Smith brothers .375 rods and they rub the heads. had to do a lot of stock removal for clearance .
