Tell me about your ballast resistor failure.

Turns out the situation was strange. I changed the ballast resistor with the same results. I ohmed out my resistor and it was the same as the new one. I checked voltage at the resistor with the key on and had nothing. Checked my choke wire and alternator and had battery voltage. I went back to...

Tell me about your ballast resistor failure.

Reviving an old thread because once again this forum has saved my ***. I have been working on my old dodge for several months. Went to start it, engine cranks and dies when the key is released. If I crank it and barely release the key enough to release the starter it runs. Of course tons of crap...

I have axles. My axle tube is bent and haven't had much luck finding someone who could straighten it for...

If you ever need a windshield, try these guys

Check out this thread. 65 glass install . I followed RUSTYRATRODS suggestions on post#6. " I don't want to steal Rusty's thunder" Worked out good. Lots of soapy water and the plastic sticks from Amazon . Start on the bottom and work your way around. Don't work up both sides and try to finish...

That looks good too. I thought about adding those lights. This is the only old car I have that will have working reverse lights.

Aussie tail lights on my wagon

Putting my 65 wagon back together. When I bought it someone had made some crappy taillight lenses out of red plastic. Original taillights were long gone. Wasn't much of a fan of the original taillights anyway. I decided to switch them to the Australian valiant lenses and came up with a...

    Early A dashpads are here!

Old thread but a quick update. I'm finally putting my dash back together . Wanted to add some pics of the dash pad installed. Fits pretty well. I had to file the holes in the dash a little as the studs were off just a little. Pretty happy with it. I hope it holds up.

Looks like these are called J clips. Dorman makes some that are similar to mine. I'll give them a shot. Thanks everyone for the help.
