Hey Guys, im gonna keep this short. heater blows cold air when set to warm hoses to cabin are warm. blower is working. what gives? where do i begin looking?

We looked today. it looks like the idler arm is too short? it causes the idler arm to hit the exhaust like this: the idler arm is a MOOG K7086, and is about 1 1/2 year old.

my buddy who has a shop said he will adjust the exhaust pipe for more clearance, we're gonna take a look at it tomorrow. i will post a pic tomorrow

i did find that the ''fingers'' of the pad, are a little wider than the caliper ''slides'' that they ride upon, but i greased this with copper grease.. should i hammer the fingers so they fit tight on the pad?
