    Car Transport Help

Looking to transport an A body from Missoula MT (I90) to Denver (I25). Car runs and drives, but I'm looking to transport via open flatbed or open carrier. This would be a perfect pick-up for someone originating in Seattle and going east on I90, perhaps stopping in Denver. Any help would be...

    1965 Dart GT "Charger 273"

Yes, Chris still owns the car - that's who I've spoken with. Thanks 65dartcharger! Do you know the total production of 1965 Darts with the go/go package?

    1965 Dart GT "Charger 273"

65dartcharger - I can get the vin. I'll probably have it by tomorrow. The car isn't exactly rust free - has rust low in both rear quarters, and looks to be tender on the right fender behind the wheel well. Has some trim damage to front hood and headlight bezels, and the rear aluminum panel on...

    1965 Dart GT "Charger 273"

Here's the listing for the car I'm looking at: http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/3152654409.html Can you explain exactly what the go/go package consisted of, and how rare that is? This one looks exactly like the one 65dartcharger has. I'm told by the owner it may be the 1st one off the line -...

    1965 Dart GT "Charger 273"

It's possible I have found one of these cars, but I need some info to verify this. From what I've been reading, there were 180 built at the LA plant, and 300 "kits" sent to dealers. Here are my questions: 1) Did the "kits" come with the cars built at the LA plant for the dealers to install -...

What's it worth? 1972 Duster \6 All original

Correct! That's the same car. I'll see what's up this afternoon. My experience (original 1974 Dart Sport and 1975 Scamp ) is that original cars aren't really valued that highly here on Colorado. Apparently, they are in the mid west.

    Original 72 340 Duster

WOW! The only thing I'd do to that one, is replace the brake pedal rubber. EXQUISITE!

What's it worth? 1972 Duster \6 All original

Thanks for the info. "rear apron" I must be showing my age! I would know that as the area below the edge of the trunk lid and above the rear bumper.

What's it worth? 1972 Duster \6 All original

I may have an opportunity to get an all original 1972 Duster. This would have original paint and pristine interior. I'm looking at it this afternoon 64K original miles, Arizona car, stripe package sides and rear apron, slant 6 auto. This would go for 10+K if it were a 318/340. What's it worth...

318 Carter BBD 2bbl Replacement Question

Hi 70dust. I have since sold the car, but here's what I can tell you. When I 1st put it on, I was having hard starting trouble with it. I took the car to a carb shop and they found the accelerator pump to be damaged - the rubber piece on the end was folded over apparently when assembled. They...

1975 Plymouth Scamp 318 Mint Original Car

Hi slantscamp - yes I did! I remember discussing it with you back then. Almost 3 years ago. Found it on CL. Just sold it on CL also. We had a great time with it over 3 show seasons. Ready for another A now. Thinking early A and more modified vs original this time.

Anybody done a custom cluster for Early A??

Tincup - that's awesome! I'm looking at a 65 Dart GT for a resto. That could be easily modified. I can see a machine turned back plate with a smoked plexi front face with the machine turned back plate exposed at the edges and bottom - could be totally awesome! Can you part with a copy of the .dwg?

1975 Plymouth Scamp 318 Mint Original Car

This is a turn-key, mint original Mopar ready for show season. An original 1971 Scamp crossed the line at Mecum last month at $8,700 bid. An original 1974 Duster crossed at $9,000 bid. Don't miss out. I've already had offers of $6500 and 2 offers of $7500. Holding firm at $7900, but I'm not...

1975 Plymouth Scamp 318 Mint Original Car

After almost 3 years, we're selling the Scamp. Just looking for something a bit different for the next few show seasons - or maybe a project, if the right one comes along. All original California car, never been driven in the snow, never been smoked in, paint is all factory original. No rust...

318 Carter BBD 2bbl Replacement Question

HemiMark - found it on Ebay. Brand new - looks almost identical to the original. I think it's closer to a 67-72 Carter BBD replacement, because it doesn't have 2 emission related vacuum connections that my original one did. I just capped those off. Unbelievable performance difference from the...

318 Carter BBD 2bbl Replacement Question

Thanks slantsixdan! That was the info I was looking for. I found the bowl canister port, and it was capped. I'm sure they used this same canister in previous years. The canister bowl port was never attached to the original carb. I'm getting the hose today and then I'll be set! Thanks so much...

Intermittent spark loss - then OK.

This problem ended up being the new made in Mexico ECU that I bought on Ebay, because it was black and looked like an original NOS ECU. It was intermittent. I sanded down an Orange ECU and painted it black and put the decal on it - works fine, and looks stock.

318 Carter BBD 2bbl Replacement Question

There is also a canister connection at the front base where the original one is located on mine. I just left this one capped and it's fine. Tremendous performance improvement as a result of the carb replacement.

Educate me on early A vs 67-76A

    I'm looking at 2 Darts as projects - both 2dr post - one's a 65 the other a 66. The 65 is a 273 auto, the 66 a roller. What are some of the differences between early A and 67-76 A?? I have a 75 Scamp. 1) Does the early A have the same K member for both /6 and V8? 2) How about spring mounts...
