    Root canal or extraction?

If they could sedate you for a root canal I’d consider it but otherwise not an option for me.

So they are clamped front and rear. Not sure if these allow any sliding at all so maybe that’s an issue. 5 leafs on right and left sides.

my barracuda convertible 3:23 gears. Stock suspension with a snubber. On takeoff it really hops and bangs. Maybe snubber banging floor? Tires are new and I’m sure grab well vs. spin. '68 383 Barracuda idler arm/center link clearance

thanks all for input -I've see the 893 and 187 and to me they look identical to 699...notch is same - am I wrong on this?. A far as shimming, wouldn't I want to do both sides same ideally? how doable would it be for a shop to take a new one and cut and weld as needed? probably ridiculous $ ....

    '68 383 Barracuda idler arm/center link clearance

has been hitting 699 pan for quite a while apparently on sharp right turns. The indentation/notch in the pan is too far forward to help with clearance - link hitting just behind indent/notch. Wondering if this has happened to others with a BB transplant and if a some different drag link or idler...

    fuel gauge folly

follow up FOLLOW-UP: OK, got lucky, ran it out on the interstate for a few miles and it started to drop as it should. Can't recall if the stock gauges were a little 'bouncy' back in the day but this one is as the float moves when I take a turn or come to a stop - anyway it's registering lower...

    fuel gauge folly

I put in a new Chrysler type Equus fuel gauge over winter (tank was filled in fall). The old gauge had been sitting a E regardless of fuel level. New gauge reads Full, but after some driving it seems to not be dropping..I see it bounce around in turns or quick stops...I'm still hoping it's...

    aftermarket fuel gauge

can't count the number of butt crimps I used but they are at least out of sight! - pretty much left all old wiring in place - just the oil press, temp, and fuel tank senders were added or rerouted to the new gauges. Glad when I did this the first time for the 3 gauges I used a lot of bullet type...
