I have a 70 Dart Swinger that the horn has never worked since purchased. I got around to fixing it this week and after tracing and testing all wiring I found that there is a gap of about 1/8" to 3/16" between the steering wheel contact ring and the roller contact on the turn signal switch...

Wow, this generated a lot of conversation!! Wish I could provide more input on dates but this all came with a different (points) distributer and no ECU so I have no idea. BTW, if anyone is interested, The box it all came in was from Royal Dodge, 15095 S. Gordon, Alvin, TX, 77511.

Bought a NOS points distributor off eBay a while back and the guy sent it in an old box with some original electronic ignition instructions and a couple old stickers. Pretty cool .... hopefully you guys can open up the PDF.

I was thinking possibly parking brake but I only removed the master cylinder at the time I put it in the bag. Doesn't mean it wasn't on the parking brake tho. Whoever originally put this car together did some odd things! lol

Sorry ..... Spring is about 1" diameter and about 2.5" overall length.

When I took out my master cylinder I had this spring which I saved and labeled. Putting everything back together but can't remember how the spring was installed. Is it even a standard part for a 70 Dart 4-Speed car? Thanks!!

Maybe more like if you are adjusting the seat forward this braket will keep you from knocking the car into gear?? When I put the seat in I'll do a test. Carpet would lay down better if it wasn't there but for originality I guess I will leave it.

Any tricks for fishing the cable through the frame box area? I am having a bear of a time getting the cable through there. Easy enough to get the threaded end and the cable portion through but the cbale sheath with the snap in clip is not going. I have A 70 Dart Swinger. Thanks!! <Update ...

I have a 70 Dart Swinger with 1/2" forward leaf spring bolts. Does anybody have a source for vintage correct bolts in 1/2". The 5/8" ones are readily available but I can't find 1/2". The closest I have found is a Grade 8 black oxide spring bolt from American Spring.
