Well, I'm a bit biased.... but I love my Taurus. (Of course, it's a modded out SHO... so that could have something to do with it.) If you're not looking for power, you can find new leftovers in that price range, and low mileage ones cheaper. I picked up this one (2013) with $8k in upgrades...

Is the Floor shift one for a manual or power steering box? My column shift column is from a power steering car. I plan to switch to manual/manual.

IMO, not unless it's 100% complete. You can find blocks for $250-500 *needing to be rebuilt* all day around here.

Most millenials don't know how to drive a standard, let alone change a tire.

So when I bought my "Running 440, doesn't need anything, maybe new rings" motor, the guy was full or crap. Heads were completely screwed, not a valve seal was complete and not one cylinder held any pressure. Frozen lifters, frozen wrist pins, etc. 6-pack was fort a B-block, not a RB, yeah, BS...

I'd say there's a reason they don't make them anymore, any why you rarely see one.

Yeah, my first plow truck was a Ram. Blew the tranny at 3 years old and 68k miles. Not to mention everything else in the front end. My next door neighbor's Ram truck went at 64k miles. I don't think it's a model-specific problem...Although my Ford lasted 136k on a stock tranny...
