    Ok, time to be humble and ask everybody for advise once again. Just finished the 225 to 318 engine swap on our 74 Duster using the schumacher mounts, get everything all bolted up, all the accessories on the motor, drop the front end of the car and now she sits considerably higher in the front...

    thanks for the info..... I was able to look up behind the dash and the gauge looks fine. no sign of melting at all. could it possibly the ignition switch? there seems to be alot of play in it.
