We had some cool, breezy, low humidity weather today. So i took advantage and primed and painted the edges of the doors so I can proceed with mounting them. I had extra paint in the gun, so I went ahead and painted the interior panels also.

My Grandmother Hellberg's sewing machine. Kenmore, vintage early 50's. I retrieved it from my sister and gave it to my grand daughter. It actually works great.

I kind of like my kitchen utensils and gadgets. Thus is a purely simple ladel that came from my mom's kitchen many moons ago. As simple as it is, it's far superior to the flimsy crap you find nowadays. Stainless steel and wood...no plastic. Size, shape, angles, etc are perfect. No dribble out...

I haven't been able to upload photos to any thread for the last couple of days. The same on my phone and on my computer. I tried restarting computer and phone, and I tried logging off the site and back on. Nope!

It's a long held tradition in Texas to take photos of your kids surrounded by Bluebonnets, Indian Paint Brushes and other wild flowers along the roadside in the spring. My wife pouted until I finally pulled over to let her take photos of herself. I refused to get out and take the photos...

I did that a while back, except that I had to buy 6 tires. My '68 Dart has a front end from a '72 Duster so I could get the late design factory disc brake setup. So I have 2 wheels with a 4" BC and 2 with a 4-1/2" BC, and of course, 1 spare for each BC. I bought some cheap-o tires for the spares...

All i can say is country boys will "engineer" something out of whatever they have around.
