    hey you ford fans!

I used to have a 2000 F350 dually with a 7.3 diesel n I upgraded it with everything Banks had for it. Damn thing could be a house done afterwards. I loved that truck. Hate to say it but I’m working on a 1970 Cougar XR7 convertible at the same time as my 66 I brought home the other day.

    First try in years

I think the only thing that kept it this good was because the older gentleman I got it from drag raced some in the 70’s. Then stored it in a shed jacked up. The raceway sticker is still in the corner of the back window in the picture. Closed years ago

    First try in years

The tow truck company I had pick it up and bring it home just dropped it in my yard and took off before I got outside to pay them. I know why now!!! They loaded it from the back and ripped the axle almost out the car and the passenger door must have come open on the way and wrapped up onto the...

    First try in years

I’m getting the AMD outside wheel wells and a set of the quarter patches from Larson’s. But I’m gonna need help finding a trunk lid and front fenders. Unless I go with fibreglass pieces I found online. I’d rather have steel though.

    First try in years

But the sheet metal skin leaves a bit to be desired lol. I have all of the badges and even the fender turn signals and everything works including the engine. Not even a crack in the dash pad. The worst part is in the trunk where the springs are coming up through the trunk

    First try in years

This is in good shape for around here in Nova Scotia. Salt air and salty roads. It’s actually really solid from the rear axle up the the front as far as the body goes. Under the carpet is still shiny red paint. And all of the little bits of trim are in the car as well. Even the wheel trim.

    Fasteners at John Deere.

Years ago I used to get all of my dirt bike bearings at our JD dealer. Way cheaper then the Honda or Yamaha dealer and better quality. Used to buy chain there too.

I got sick with Tuberculosis working in the Arctic back almost ten years ago. Kind of shocked me bad didn’t even know it was a thing to catch anymore. Been on here for a few years watching n learning but my body doesn’t let me work like it used to. I hope restoring this will give me some piece...

    What does it cost?

Thanks guys I’ll take your advice and any help I can get. The last time I restored any vehicle was 1987. I’m kind of new to this. No websites back then when I had my other cars. I stopped when got married and sold everything I had stashed for later. I miss my 69 charger I was driving back then...

    What does it cost?

Believe it or not every piece of trim is there including the rocker trim, not broken. The dash pad doesn’t even have crack. Maybe I should just part it out. Might be to much for me. Excited to find it now my brain is telling me nooo…!

    What does it cost?

I loved this thread. Just starting my 66 barracuda and it’s a rusty heap with the rear springs through the floor. The sheet metal outside is shot but the bones from the trunk up are like new. Old guy used to drag race it. Every nut n bolt is there but maybe…won’t be salvageable. Here’s some...

    [Found!] Left rear window regulator

I would think any 64-66 Barracuda should fit. If it’s not exact it should be able to be made to fit. I have a 64 Parts car and the glass is the same. To bad for me all I got was the sheet metal with it and some glass
